페친 장춘익 선생님의 글이다. 공감하는 얘기고, 또 영작 연습용으로 좋아보여 져왔다.


"한 사람의 도덕성은 그가 무엇을 싫어하는 지에서, 그리고 창의성은 그가 무엇을 좋아하는 지에서 드러난다. 싫어함만 비슷하면 동지가, 좋아함만 비슷하면 동호인이 될 뿐이다. 싫어하고 좋아함이 비슷하면 좋은 친구가 될 수 있을 것이다. 나는 잠깐 함께 분노하고, 그보단 길게 즐거운 얘기를 나누고, 그후엔 제법 긴 침묵도 어색해 하지 않으면서 한 잔 할 수 있는 친구가 좋다."

One's morality can be measured from what s/he likes and creativity from what s/he dislikes. We we can share with someone what we like then we can be peson having same mind/will, and persons having same taste when we can share what we like. When we can share both what we like and dislikes, then we can be good friends. I'd like to have a friend with whom I can share my fury for a while and have enjoyable talk, and then have some drink sharing silence without feeling akward.
