Einheitssemantik을 unifying semantics/ semantics of the unity로 번역한다. Einheit는 "통일(성)"이기도 하고 "단위"이기도 하고... unity는 단일성, 통일성, unify는 통일시키다, 통합하다. 사전 예문을 보니...  "unify the factions of a political party 정파를 통합하다 unify the people 국민을 통합하다." 국민통합은 integration/integrate보다 unify가 더 어울릴 것 같다. 이 경우 명사형은 unification인데... 그건 정말 '통일'아닌가. 명사 "unity"에 가까운 "unify"로 이해해야 하지 않을까? unifying은 vereinheitlichen, Vereinheitlichung?

여하튼 unifying semantics는 J Halfmann이 매우 훌륭하게 정의내리고 있다. 매우 유용한 개념이다.
